Yusuf Ibrahim is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering (Distinction) from Ahmadu Bello University (2017–2019), where he also earned his M.Sc. in Computer Engineering (Distinction) and B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering (First Class). With over a decade of experience in academia, he has served in various capacities, including Assistant Lecturer, Lecturer II, Lecturer I, and now Senior Lecturer, actively contributing to teaching, research, and postgraduate supervision.

His research interests lie at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Data Science, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing (NLP). He has authored multiple research papers in Scopus-indexed journals, IEEE conferences, and international journals, focusing on machine learning applications, remote sensing, and wireless security. His technical expertise spans neural networks, deep learning, data analytics, mathematical modeling, and algorithm design, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB and tools like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Pandas, and Matplotlib.

Yusuf is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and an active member of the research community, engaging in peer-reviewed journal contributions, conference presentations, and academic collaborations. He is fluent in English and Hausa and maintains professional research profiles on Google Scholar, ORCiD, Scopus, and ResearchGate.
